A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Gangnam

On July 4th, the opening party of UH FLAT SIGNATURE GANGNAM was held. It was an event to celebrate the opening of the first Gangnam branch, as well as to commemorate the launch of UH FLAT’s premium brand, “Signature.”
Not only influencers who have been with UHC for a long time, but also hotel guests on that day were free to participate. Seats were arranged in the front yard of the F&B brand “Sounds of Apple,” which is located inside UH FLAT SIGNATURE GANGNAM.
Mini lemon trees bearing small lemons welcomed the guests. Every guest was presented with a “travel pouch” engraved with the STATION by UHC logo. It was a gift from UHC, prepared with the hope that guests would travel conveniently anywhere.

As 7 PM approached, a long line formed at the entrance. Guests filled the outdoor seats, which could accommodate about 50 people, and then even the indoor seats of Sounds of Apple were fully occupied.

About 100 servings of carefully prepared catering were provided on site. To be enjoyed lightly with drinks, appetizing finger foods such as avocado shrimp canapés, ricotta cheese salad, sausage and vegetable skewers, ham and cheese sandwiches, and sweet-and-spicy fried chicken were arranged.
For dessert after the meal, fresh fruits—the signature menu of “Sounds of Apple”—were carefully portioned into bite-sized pieces.

Influencer “Draw Andrew” served as the main host of the party. Beginning with an ice-breaking session using question cards, the venue was soon filled with laughter and conversation. At the peak of the atmosphere, a special lucky draw was held.
The 4th prize was a tea set from the tea brand Tavalon, the 3rd prize was a hand wash from the living brand De Ordinaire, the 2nd prize was a moon jar candle from De Ordinaire, and the grand 1st prize was a weekend accommodation voucher for UH FLAT SIGNATURE GANGNAM. Each time the winners were announced, the unexpected joy brightened the faces of the guests.

More than 60 bottles of white wine and sparkling wine were also prepared to heighten the excitement of the party. To cool down the heat of a midsummer night, all the wines were chilled in large oak barrels filled with ice. Whenever they wished, guests could have their glasses refilled directly by staff at the “Wine Zone.”

Finally came the climax of the party. A surprise live performance by Jung Yong-hwa of CNBLUE. At first, he sang “I’m a Loner” while hidden, as if it were just background music, then suddenly rushed out from the second-floor balcony to appear in front of the audience. It was an even more special plan as it was done together with YouTuber Jaykeeout, who has 1.97 million subscribers.

Following “I’m a Loner,” famous songs such as “You’ve Fallen for Me” and “Love” were performed, and some guests naturally sang along with the lyrics. Since most of the attendees were in their 20s and 30s, they could share the same memories and feel the magical moment together.
